In May 2007, the Superintendents of the ten school districts approved the EFA Presents! Admission Credit in recognition of the importance of maintaining access to high-quality arts education programming during difficult economic times.
This exciting initiative provides free admission to selected works of art for every K-8 school (public and private) in the Kalamazoo RESA service district.
Each K-8 school receives one credit per enrolled student. The credits may be redeemed for admission to selected works of art on the 2009/10 Repertoire. Credits may be used for one event or for a combination of events.
If a school uses all of its credits for the school year, but wants to attend additional events, it may purchase extra admissions at a cost of only $2.00 per student for field trips or $100.00 per school for the "Masks and More" traveling exhibit.
High schools in the Kalamazoo RESA service district may purchase admission to works of art on the 2009/10 Repertoire. Admission is only $2.00 per student for field trips or $100.00 per school for the "Masks and More" traveling exhibit.
The PACE Admission Credit provides K-8 students enrolled in the PACE Program with the opportunity to attend one dance or theatre performance during each residency. The PACE Admission Credit is provided to participating students in addition to the EFA Presents! Admission Credit.
Admission for teachers/chaperones on field trips is free of charge, however, the number of adults is limited. To maximize the number of student seats available, we ask that schools limit the number of adults to one per every 12-15 students. |
