This is an EFA Presents! Admission Credit selection.
Explore the stories artists tell in works of art. Look for drama, imagine dialog and develop your own interpretations and ideas. Variety in subject matter, purposes and points of view offer many different ways to explore the KIA's exceptional collection of paintings, prints and drawings.
Works on view feature American paintings and prints from the 1700s–2000s. Subjects focus on people and places, depicting history, everyday life, people in groups and the American landscape.
"Stories without Words" is available September through June. The KIA offers docent tours of the exhibit through the EFA Presents! program. Guided tours range from 30-60 minutes depending on student grade level. Maximum of 60 students per group. Schedule tours at least four weeks in advance.
