The silent film genius of Buster Keaton and the innovative modern music of Blue Dahlia seamlessly blend to create a fresh work of art that captivates students of all ages. The rollicking adventure of Buster Keaton's 1927 classic comedy "The General" is presented with an original modern score performed live by Kalamazoo's own Blue Dahlia. This activity is funded in part by the Michigan Humanities Council.

Amalia Hernández, Ballet Folklórico de México sets itself apart by combining their artists' talents with the traditional music, elaborate dance and ornate costumes of Mexican culture. The result is a stunning dance and live music performance that disseminates the rich tradition and folklore of Mexico throughout the world.
